Makkah And Madinah - Through the lens of Ahmed Saeed Moolla
In his quiet way, Ahmed Saeed Moolla has captured over four decades of the pictorial history of the sacred city of Makkah (Mecca) and the enlightened city of Madinah (Medina). Beginning in 1973 Ahmed Saeed has been taking and collecting historical photographs of life in the two holy cities during his annual pilgrimages to the holy cities. This passion lasted for forty-four years until 2017, when declining health and later the COVID-19 pandemic made it impossible for him to continue any further. A unique cofee-table book of his photographs was published and launched on 27 July 2025.
